All the toning equipment from Life Fitness arrived as giant flat-packs!
The Life Fitness toning equipment arrived on 25 July 2012 and was installed over the next two days. I personally spent the weekend of the 28 and 29 July setting up the LED lights that are attached to the machines.


All it takes is one screw missing! Actually this happened, one of the leg machines came sans a pulley wheel that meant it was unusable. A replacement part was available in Poland, a couple of hundred km from Venda's home town in the Czech Republic where she was holidaying with the children. As delivery was going to be several days - certainly not for our opening on 30 July - Venda offered to drive across the border, collect it and bring it back on her return on Sunday. Life Fitness refused to co-operate! The part arrived from the US later the following week.


All done.


Magnificent!
The BARDELLO Membership Scheme was launched on 1 August 2012. We sold 500 memberships in August and by the end of 2012 this had risen to 850.

The next challenge was to remove the pay-at-the-door option. We did this as of 1 January 2013 and as a result, together with New Year resolutions, the membership numbers have soared.!
