BARDELLO COVID-SECURE GUIDELINES

Welcome back to Bardello

We are committed to providing you with a safe place to exercise. So that we can achieve this, we have issued the following guidelines in line with those issued by the Government which we ask every member to follow:

1. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, stay at home and follow the Government's guidelines.
   
   
2. You must not mix with people that you do not live with or do not share a support bubble with.
   
   
3. The number of members on site at any one time will be limited to 100. Where possible, therefore, visit Bardello at quieter times (usually 11am to 4pm during the week and 11am to close at weekends).
   
   
4. You must book online if you wish to attend a class as participants are limited to 40 per class (30 for Pump).
   
   
5. Where possible, come to and leave Bardello in your gym kit.
   
   
6. Please do not use a face mask whilst exercising - you will not be required to wear face coverings at Bardello.
   
   
7. Both inside and directly outside of Bardello, keep a social distance between yourself and any other member who is not a member of your social bubble.
   
   
8. Sanitise your hands before and after using the turnstiles. Wash your hands regularly and avoid contact with your face.
   
   
9. When entering Bardello, follow the arrows to the entry turnstile. When exiting, follow the arrows to the exit turnstile.
   
   
10. Do not bring your own sweat towels, floor mats or other personal items you might use for exercising into Bardello.
    
    
11. Leave the windows as you find them as we are operating an agreed ventilation schedule and recognise that all fans need to remain on.
    
    
12. Follow the floor markings to enter the free weights area and the separate markings to exit.
    
    
13. Numbers of members in the free weights area will be limited to 20.
    
    
14. During classes, you must start, and remain close to, your floor-marked spot whilst maintaining a social distance at all times.
    
    
15. During classes particularly, you must not whoop, shout, nor cheer.
    
    
16. After each class, you must clean any equipment that you have used.
    
    
17. Unless you are exercising beforehand, you should arrive for your pre-booked class no more than 5 minutes in advance and you should leave immediately when the class is finished unless you are staying on to exercise.
    
    
18. The maximum number in each changing room will be three with only one person at the lockers and one person in the showers at a time.
    
    
19. Please thoroughly clean (the areas you may touch) each piece of equipment immediately before and after use. Cleaning items are provided.
    
    
20. Do not move equipment e.g. benches etc. around the gym, they must remain in their dedicated space.
    
    
21. Limit your time on each CV machine that you use to a maximum of 15 minutes if another member is using the equipment next to you.
    
    
22. Whilst using the Life Fitness Circuit equipment (to the left-hand side of the stage) you need to leave one machine gap between you and anyone else in the area.
    
    
23. We will be closing Bardello 10 minutes earlier than normal to facilitate cleaning.
    
    
24. Those with whom you play basketball all need to be either from your own household or in a support bubble with you. Reasonable evidence of this will need to be shown to the Duty Manager before playing.
    
    

Please bear in mind that these guidelines are issued directly by the Government and are intended to keep you and your fellow Bardello members safe.
